Belle and Sebastian have released live renditions of two tracks for Amazon Original: "Working Boy in New York City", taken from the group’s latest album 'A Bit of Previous' and "We Rule the School", previously heard on the band’s 1996 debut album 'Tigermilk', this time with vocals performed by rising Scottish pop pioneer Wuh Oh. Steve Gunn - 'Motion Pictures (For Carrie)' - Amazon Original

Steve Gunn has contributed a cover of Neil Young's 'Motion Pictures (For Carrie)' towards an Amazon Original release which comes out today. Stream or purchase it exclusively via Amazon Music here.

'Motion Pictures (For Carrie)' is the penultimate track on Young's 1974 release 'On The Beach' - which is suitably well timed to celebrate it's 45th anniversary tomorrow.

Says Gunn of the cover:
“‘Motion Pictures’ perfectly captures the wistful anxiety of 'living in between' the real world and being on the road. I also find watching TV in hotel rooms inspiring.

New From Snail Mail - "2nd Most Beautiful Girl In The World"

Snail Mail's cover of Courtney Love's "2nd Most Beautiful Girl In The World" is available today via Amazon Music.  You can hear Lindsey Jordan's version the Lois Maffeo-penned b-side from the 1990 "Uncrushworthy" EP (K Records) by announcing, "Alexa, play the new song from Snail Mail," but if you don't actually own an Alexa-powered device, not only will you look pretty foolish if anyone else is in the room, but you'll have to simply click on this link (so think about it beforehand).
