does anyone think it would be a good idea to take perhaps your favorite GBV album and then talk a little about each track and do like a heading for each album? I think it could be cool because the music affects different people differently, like I know there's things on, say, Waved Out, that really move me and other people may not see or disagree with it's meaning, etc. just an idea

Sounds good lester, fire away. Under one condition: Joseph must participate.

But that's the interesting thing about many GBV tunes. Many of them are simply colorful use of the language and melody with no necessary meaning.

Yeah, I agree, Bob himself admits that he cares more about the imagery being interesting and colourful than literal meaning.

That's not to say that it would not be interesting to do though.

True, some songs just stump me, I have no idea what they're about.

I didn't mean like literally find the meaning, GBV has great lyrics, but it's not like Bob Dylan or something. Just general thoughts

I always thought it was intentional!
