Summer Camp with GBV

Crazy thought here. I would like to see and participate in a GBV tour of sorts. Rather than the band come to the fans, the fans come to Dayton and hang out for two weeks straight. It could be a workshop of sorts. We'd pay our own way to get there, pay a set fee for attendance and participation. And then we could spend lots of time learning and drinkning with our masters. Of course, we could also get a little out of it interms of music.

See, I think in the spirit of the band and all, it should be a lo-dough kinda thing. Seeing's how Dayton's barely an hour's drive from my house, I'd be down.

i always dreamed of something like that. in my head imagine a huge sunday afternoon show, outdoors at that big band shell they show in watch me jumpstart. In the days before, fans would be arrviving from all corners of the country - nay, the world - and by saturday night the streets and bars of dayton would be flooded with the faithfull..all getting oiled for the next days show. i think late afternoon..6pm or so.
after seeing the who went home and cried, it confirmed what i've suspected...that dayton is a paradise of sorts.

I think this all stemmed from a dream about Dougie Fresh teaching me what I really ought to know about gee-tar playing.
