Atlanta Shows

Could someone please give me the lowdown on all the times Cat Power is playing Atlanta on 3-19 and 3-20?

The tour page here has her playing the Variety Playhouse on the 19th and the Earl on the 20th. However, the Earl's site (www.badearl.com) has another band on the bill for 3-20. It is advertizing a Cat Power show in front of the Variety Playhouse on the 19th, I assume before the big show inside the Playhouse later that night.

So will there be 3 performances in 2 days?

3 shows in 3 days,
Tuscaloosa at The Chukker 3-18
Atlanta Variety Playhouse 8:30 pm 3-19
Atlanta The Earl 10:00 pm doors open 3-20

The Earl usually will fix their website, or maybe you just need to call to get tickets. Chan is playing solo at the Earl show.

I really don't know about an earlier show outside the Variety on 3-19 that would be great. SO maybe 4 shows in 3 days.

Thanks. I hadn't seen that Tuscaloosa show listed when I first posted. It kinda cancels my need for info about Atlanta since Tusc. is so much closer to me.

However, I may not be able to resist seeing Cat Power play on the street. If that pre-show on the 19th is legit, I may make the drive.

where does it say in "front" of the Variety Playhouse ?? that doesnt really make sense, now does it ?
Its IN the Variety......seems like the Earl folks are co-presenting the Variety show. As far as The Earl on 3/20 , its possible that Chan's playing an early solo there , that's just not listed yet..

ah....ok ok sorry for the confusion. I have figured out where I went wrong.

The Earl's site reads:

"Entrance
at the Variety Playhouse"

which I took to mean in front of the Variety Playhouse, but I just realized the opening band is called Entrance. I'm a bit embarassed, but oh well. Thanks for helping me see my error.
