Did Ray Davies share songwriting credits on this?

I'm not sure who Ray Davies is... but I remember something about a craw from a Kids in the Hall sketch.

"I'm about this close to sticking this up your craw!"

"Well, I'm about this close to running away."

Or something like that.

Ray Davies, assuming this is THE Ray Davies, was the main singer/songwriter in the Kinks.

your confusing sketches. Scott Thompson is trying to pick a fight in a bar.

Scott Thompson: Hey, what's up your craw Punk?
Kevin MacDonald: Pardon?
Scott Thompson: I said what's up your craw, Punk?
Kevin MacDonald: Uh huh, and what's a craw?
Scott Thompson: You don't know what a craw is? Well, it's a-- you see it's-- I saw one in France-- Unh! Gawd I hate people with brains!

I just thought the melody sounds alot like Waterloo Sunset...but I could be crazy...actually the odds favor that.

Yep, I did intertwine those two different funny skits into... a different.... lesser funny... one...

Well, I also flaunted my lack of knowledge of classic rock music by not knowing who Ray Davies is. I mean I don't even own any Kinks albums. I've always heard of them but I don't think I ever listened to a song by them. Whats a good Kinks album, as there seem to be a ton when I look on Amazon?

Pretty much any of the ones Timo listed are great. I'll add Kinks Kontroversy, and Kinda Kinks to that. My favorite is Village Green... and Face to Face. The Kink Kronikles album is a pretty good starting point.
