Where would you realistically like to see Burma next time they play? It's been Bowery 5 times in a row now...

warsaw or southpaw.

Is the sound at Warsaw really that much better these days? I remember when they first improved it by heightening the PA, but it still seemed somewhat boomy and cavernous the last time I was there (which I think was the last time GBV played there, a couple years ago).

I think Southpaw might be a little too small...

not too sure whether the sound has improved. i've always liked warsaw for its charm, for better or worse.

i guess the mega sound system of the nokia would suit MoB, but that place seems so souless to me. you default back to irving plaza at this rate.

well, if a band was gonna play one place that many times, bowery would be the one to choose. otherwise, maybe northsix?

somewhere that's not 21+

Warsaw was cool when I saw Frank Black play there in like 2003 I think

but it's a Clear Channel venue

but I guess Burma's not finicky about that kind of stuff.

I agree, Bowery's my favorite NYC venue (aside from some of the security staff), but I think I've said that here a million times before. Anyway, good to have feedback - keep it coming.

I'm not a fan of the sound at Northsix... also I think it's probably a little too small.

Galapagos, down the street from Northsix, is really nice but probably a bit small. :D

this also might be a little small, but i've always been a big fan of the tonic. don hill's can actually be decent for a bigger venue, the shows i've seen there have been surprisingly well-done (though never too packed).

but yeah, it's really hard to beat the bowery. i'll never get tired of seeing shows there.

timeout NY actually published a big list of capacities a year or two ago, i have it sitting around somewhere. it was pretty interesting. i'll take a look when i get home.
