They were surprisingly decent to him during the interview. I wonder if he was annoyed at all the Pavement questions though.

I did wonder what some of the other members of Pavement do for work.

It'll ruin our sweet 'n' sour memories of what was. Did y'all see Mick Jones & Co. at the RnR Hall o' Fame awards on TV? Yeeeech!!! Thank Allah the Clash never "got back together." That woulda been an unmitigated disaster. Let the past stay where it is.

Besides: Pig Lib distills the very best of what Malkmus did best with Pavement, like Jefferson's Reserve. I'm so in love with this record, by gum I think I'm gonna marry it.

I'd be for a Pavement reunion if it was just a few shows for fun. Like SM said, if there was a 'monsters of 90's indie rock' show or something. Not sure if they started making albums again.
