yeah seriously ... we should be able to trade in our 'LLPJ' barcodes for a 50% discount on this. though i'm sure i'll listen to those singles much more with them all on one disc.

I was going to suggest something, but I didn't want to sound like that one guy in the Crooked Rain thread.

Re: LLPJ box. I know, I know, I know. We wanted to release that as a single CD but it wasn't to be.

At least the new set will include 7 EPs as opposed to 3, and at a price considerably lower.

The vinyl will be triple gatefold - should be very nice.

Will this have the 12" version of Legal Man on it?

At that point in time, yes, the band wanted to keep them separate.

You know, that's a good question about the 12" version of "Legal Man". I'll direct Jesper to this thread.

According to the band on their Q&A page, "Judy Is A Dick Slap" (which I think is the only song that's different on CD and 12") will be the shorter CD version.

On a somewhat related note, the band also have said that later this year they're coming out with a cd of all their Jeepster/Matador era BBC Sessions. I'd have to assume that will be on Matador, too - do you guys know anything about it? If so, can you tell us anything about it?

I can't wait to get a proper (e.g. not MP3) copy of (My Girl's Got) Miraculous Techniques. That's one of my favorite Belle & Sebastian songs.

Sorry, no info on any BBC sessions.
