Do any of you guys know of an online place besides Ebay where I can maybe pick up Spoon's Telephono? I need the cd because I am too poor to buy a record player. Thanks for your help.

I had the same question a few months back. The CD is out of print. Basically, you need to shop around online or in old fashion stores until you're lucky enough to find a copy somewhere.

There's one available used on Amazon. If you email me (timothompson at yahoodotcom), I could possibly trade or B&P a CD-R.

A few months ago Horizon Records in Greenville, SC had a copy. You should call and ask them. I can't get to the phone book right now but can give you the # later if you want it.

I've been trying to get my hands on a copy for some time, as well. It's just not something that shows up in used bins.

Considering that there seems to be market here (well, at least 3 or 4, it would seem to me to be a candidate for a reprint. Wonder if the Matador folks are into that?

Spoon owns the recordings, and I believe it was Britt Daniel's decision to let those releases lapse.

I remember reading that somewhere too. Since it doesnt look like the record will be printed again I wonder if that means it is okay for those of us who have it, to burn it for others. The only reason I havent offered is cause I dont want to take money away from the band - but if it isnt even for sale...

There are some really good songs on that album.

Songsearch.net has it for 11$...

Never actually used them personally though so no idea whether they're reliable or not.
